Last time I thought "JHFC we are thin. How can we get this done?" we ended up losing. However, it ended up we didn't lose because we couldn't score against such a formidable defense, we lost much more because of some atrocious ref-ing and an unforced and badly timed turnover.
That 'downgraded to out' list contains important cogs in the Patriots' machine. That's nearly 20% out of the O & D starting lineup -- with each individual a productive part. It again makes me concerned with how we can get it done against a clearly capable opponent in their own house. So this with that same belief of being thin, I should rightfully believe 'we will find a way, we far more often than not do'. Bottom line: this is the BB Patriots. We virtually always find a way to give ourselves a chance to win. If the players don't give away anything/execute well and if the coaches adapt/adjust as they can and are expected to, I still like our chances.
Disappointed most with Jules missing the game. I know it is early for his estimated return and he seems to be coming along very well, however, I had hoped he would get a cursory amount of snaps starting this Sunday in order to start shaking off the rust. Unfortunately unless he takes a step forward in the next 5 days from where he is right now, his first meaningful snaps will not be until the AFC Conference round. Not ideal but Jules/Patriots will manage....
