That would require a roster move and then another if they intend to sign Jackson next week. Plus, Iosefa has never played an NFL game and was signed as a developmental FB, and Ball has had only a few days of practice and ads just signed to the PS.

I'd like to see Iosefa; see if he can give us some of Devlin's contribution.

What I find intriguing about Iosefa is that he isn't just a blocking fullback. He had quite a few receptions out of the back field and ran the ball well out of the backfield in college. Iosefa can all throw the ball.. He was 3 for 4 with 2 TDs in college..

At this point, if he can pound the ball into the line and stone a few LBs, he's worth having on the 53. Anything else is a bonus.

That's kind of a reporter's job. Being the reporter assigned to cover the Pats/Belichick just happens to be a suckier than usual version of being a reporter.

Why did you figure that? They just made a bunch of roster moves to shore things up for this week. They're running thin at several positions. Doesn't it make sense to wait until next week to make an official signing so they don't take up a spot on the 53 for a guy who isn't going to play?
