Carter is really small but the rare player who can match Edelman in quickness. Edelman's Shuttle and Cone were 3.92 / 6.62, Carter's were 3.80 / 3.64.
NO, I AM NOT SAYING.
Just pointing out he has serious quicks.
Having the guy sit out until week 13 pretty much says it all. A young second round pick who can't get signed despite all the injuries going around? The league scouts must be pretty unimpressed with him.
Dion Lewis says hi
From time with Ravens:
"However, Carter didn't make as many plays as a receiver once training camp began and he muffed two kickoffs during preseason games, hurting his chance to make the team as a returner."
Oh boy
I think you need to re-check your data. Or your data is biased.
I took a look at all the RBs with over 100 carries thus far and they've carried the ball a total of 6,591 times with 80 fumbles. That's a rate of 1.21%.
EDIT: That data actually included Cam Newton, if you pull him out it drops to 1.18% for RBs with over 100 carries.
Let's hope that doesn't happen. Ball shouldn't see the field.
Should be 6.64 Interesting thing is that his pro day numbers for cone were listed as 3.80 and 4.03....Which one was it??????Are the cone number accurate? Something seems off.
