Simultaneous groin and hand injuries ... Hmm ... That might help explain this:
J.J. Watt: I'm trying to find a girlfriend
Gets mighty lonely in that log cabin ...

Not buying it. Think this is just him being him and putting on a show for the cameras, if he goes out and has a good game the media talks about how he did it with a hand he broke 4 days ago and if he does nothing and they lose it's well "Watt had a broken hand".
No doctor is going to put a hard cast on someone's broken hand before the swelling goes down and there is no way in hell it went down in under a day.
Maybe.... or it could be that damn heavy Papa John's meatlover's slice that broke his arm....
Yup, those solo sessions must be epic.Gets mighty lonely in that log cabin ...
If you're not a Patriot, you're either overrated, an attention-whore, a tool or just suck at football.WTF is the problem with people in this forum? First Rodgers and now Watt, it's as if any player who becomes great needs to be run down. Like Brady both Watt and Rodgers have worked their asses off and turned themselves into first ballot HOF caliber player's and neither has done anything to be classified as the assholes they are treated as here. Watt is the best defensive player in football and only a few players, e.g. Keuchly, are in the ballpark with him. If he broke his hand then the Patriots got lucky because it will definitely hinder him come Sunday. How much it will hinder him remains to be seen but it at least make life a little easier for Brady on Sunday night.
Chris Collinworth: "NOW HERES A GUY-"I agree. At this point it has become very difficult to not second guess stories like that when it comes to Watt.
He has become so in love with the public persona he created that he almost became a caricature of himself with that "cabin in the middle of the woods" thingy over the summer. Overexaggerating a hand injury seems right in his wheel house. In fact. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point during the game "he tears" the cast off his hand to show the entire nation how tough he is. Of course during a close-up shot of him.

He is a great player but his fake, public persona is kinda annoying. And I am not surprised that some people are not buying a broken hand that conveniently doesn't hinder him that much and happens right before a Sunday Night Game.
Can't wait to see how much attention this gets on NBC lol
Agreed, he is annoying. Watching his press conference yesterday was amusing. Message: I'm the biggest badass ever placed on this planet , and it's so because I say it's so. 1/2 sack and 13 tackles in 3 career games vs. NE. He could go out Sunday night and destroy the Patriots, but if he does, I'll be more than surprised. I'm not disputing his talent, just his performance when it really counts. I hope he's dusted off that varsity jacket that gave Albie Breer the erection of his lifetime. He is a great player but his fake, public persona is kinda annoying. I will wait for proof to decide whether he's faking an injury but I don't believe he is for one second. There is no upside and the downside is being seen as a fraud four the rest of your career. Watt doesn't have to prove he's tough to anyone, it's a fact.
