Watch from the 0:41 second mark (should automatically start from there when you click the link above)

There's definitely a solid push there by Thurmond. Almost like a defensive-push-off. Could've gone either way, although I'd lean towards a flag of course. Wasn't this the crew that called 4 in a row last week in the SF/ARI game? Perhaps they were hesitant to call some this game due to the backlash.

Also, Eagles only rushed 4. Kline gets tossed aside by Eagles #55 and the quick pressure forces Brady to make a split second decision. Just ~1.5 seconds longer and I bet Brady looks left and hits Chandler wide open.

Wow, I missed that during the game. That's pretty blatant..."Okay team, here's how you stop a route..."

Kline had his worst game of the year.

Blatant. So blatant I'm surprised Amendola didn't get called for OPI since it seems that "running routes near a defender who shoves you out of the way to catch the ball" is illegal. It's in one of the blank pages of the rule book.

Good catch by Marko. I missed this during the game.

At one point, iirc, he was kneeling and shaken up and with blood on his forearm/elbow. I think he was dinged up pretty bad.

So why not throw Andrews in at C and kick Stork out to guard? I don't know, but they need to do something on that OL ASAP. brady is getting hammered on a third of his drop-backs, and has no time - that, combined with the loss of Gronk and Edelman (and DA just getting back) will not a superbowl make.

Thanks! But that play was obvious, and should have been flagged immediately. I was about 15 feet from a tv and saw it in real time. Amendola has to go bat **** after that to get attention of tge refs. I'm very sensitive to anything affecting receivers and how they call PI because my son plays receiver and corner in high school. FWIW he prefers the more physical style of play, without all of the marginal calls for both sides, receivers being allowed to "chicken wing" the dbs and dbs being allowed to paw the receivers.

he's within 5 yards of the LOS, so isn't contact allowed?

edit: never mind, i see your point about the ball having already left brady's hand. it seems pretty close.

Scott Chandler had separation on a easy safe out route...Pass should have never went to Dola there the Defense knew he was the First Read and he was doubled. Brady must feel real sick watching the tape he had tunnel vision there. Chandler had a mismatch.

It could be argued either way. Brady shouldn't have thrown it. It was one of four interceptions. There were a couple games that were okay pass performances but bad by Brady's standards -- this one was the worst. He almost looked like Peyton Manning out there.

edit: 2 interceptions
That second pick was an ode to good old Brett Favre I think. Might not have been picked if LaFell didn't quit on the route but a bad risk.

And Brady bailed lafell out again and said he tried to throw it away but didn't throw it far enough. You would think that his recievers would start fighting for the ball more because Brady always takes the blame away from them.

Throw away BS nice touch on he deep ball there Tom.

You know Mort, you can update the actual post instead of just adding a footnote.

No, no. Let my ignorance lay bare for all the forum to see. I walked out for a while and I thought Brady threw 2 more interceptions than he did. I was wrong.

BTW, what stat sites does everyone use -- NFL.com isn't doing it for me.
