that USA Today writer is terrible. i dare you to find one positive thing he has written about the patriots. he doesn't have to kiss their butt, but it's 100% negative from him on the team

I should know better than to click on a thread that basically screams "dad jokes."

How do you know? You don't know anything about me, brotha. Consider yourself reported to the mods.

Ian's my uncle. Good luck. He baned NEM because NEM disliked one of my posts, burh

If nothing else, it avoids nonsensical controversies like this one.

I cling to the old fashion notion that there's nothing wrong with having activities just for boys and activities just for girls but such notions are deemed heresy in this PC culture.
When there is absolutely nothing that makes men by their very nature better at the job, like for being a ref, then it shouldn't be men only profession. I'm sure she's in much better shape than many of the refs right now, so that's not an excuse.

Saying that men and women should be separated to "avoid nonsencical controversies like this one" kind of sounds sounds like someone in the 60's saying "we shouldn't hire a black person for that job. What would the people think if they saw him. We must avoid controversies like that".

He's a better man than I am. I would have squeezed her tits together and made an obscene gesture by flicking my tongue out of my mouth as fast as possible whilst making intense eye contact with her.

Ding Ding Ding.. we got a winner..

Nice false analogy.

Maybe men are better suited to be refs because . . . men play football? The reason that there aren't any women NFL football players isn't because of sexism; it's because of very real physical differences between the genders.

There are a lot of coaches in the league that has never played the game at any high level. Very few coaches actually played in the NFL, and yet they seem to be able to coach just fine. She doesn't have to tackle anyone, so I think she will do just fine on the physical part.

There are real physical differences that affect things like strength, and speed. But I don't see how they affect a job like being a ref. Not when we have a bunch of old guys doing just fine on the physical part. I'm not talking about women playing in the NFL, i'm talking about being a ref.

There's a logical reason to have separate leagues for women in men in sports where the phyiscal differences makes them perform on different levels. But it's not logical to do that separation in other jobs where that large separation doesn't exist. Like being a ref. Or coaching, or whatever. She seems to do as well as any other NFL ref.

I think most, if not all, coaches in the NFL have played football at SOME level at some point in their lives.

That's nice. Dump all over her even though she isn't the one complaining about this at all. She's just doing her job and the media is once again trying to stir **** up. By all means, get hysterical about it and give them exactly what they want.

I've seen this story pop up on a couple of news sites. It's absurd and an insult to female referees. He treated her like any other ref which is what he should do.

That sounds nice in the ideal, in the real world that kind of thinking can get you into serious trouble.

If you criticize the performance of the first female referee, you are going to get killed by the SJW's. It's not fair, but that's the reality of it.

You're not wrong, Bro, but **** on that. **** all over that.

Let The Weak grovel and cater to the PC Pukes.

Not me...and not Mad Bill!!

The still at the top of the article suceeds in making it look like BB is doing something semi bad against a ref. The video shows that nope, they just found the frame where he looks the angriest, and like he plans to lift her up or something.

"And Belichick should know better". What the crap? He should know better than to just show the ref what he sees the opponents do, that he believes is against the rule? Coaches do that all the time, to all refs, because it's much easier to just show what someone does wrong, instead of trying to explain it. Especially with the short time between plays.

He actually wrote "Belichick should know better (four words that can be said weekly)."

Anybody stupid enough to write that shouldn't even be allowed to Drive, much less Write.

LOL, he's not even that angry! Look at the video. She doesn't seem intimidated either. What a ridiculous non story, as usual.

Exactly, she doesn't even flinch. She listened carefully to what the GOAT Coach had to say. She is very professional. I like her. This nonsense is more demeaning to her than BB. Let her do her job you scum sucking scum bag (the guy writing the articles, obviously we have none of those on this forum).

I guess that made him the Bane of NEM's Existence, eh?
