It seems like he's actually giving her a sense of equality. He's showing his displeasure with the Eagles' tactics on that play, and he's doing the same thing he'd do if he were demonstrating to a male ref.

Wasn't BB actually penalized for touching a male ref a few years back? Forget I said that, I simply couldn't stomach a #bi-gate.

It was during the replacement ref era, specifically during the Patriots-Ravens game. Baltimore's game winning kick looked like it passed over the top of the goal post and was no good. The officials ruled it good and were then running off the field. Belichick caught up with one and grabbed his arm to get the official's attention to ask about the play. He was fined maybe $50k for that.

After that game and the fine, there was a lot of "You can't make contact with an official, no matter what." I'm pretty sure that was the year Baltimore won the SB. During that game, a Baltimore player shoved an official as the officials were breaking up a fight. No penalty for that and no fine from the league, either.

I've seen this story pop up on a couple of news sites. It's absurd and an insult to female referees. He treated her like any other ref which is what he should do.

That sounds nice in the ideal, in the real world that kind of thinking can get you into serious trouble.

If you criticize the performance of the first female referee, you are going to get killed by the SJW's. It's not fair, but that's the reality of it.

What really happens: She gets really close to him and then Bill actually takes a step back so he can reestablish the distance he needs to show her the action he was being being critical about.

Exactly. Just another example of the lopsided, "do whatever we want, when we want," ,BS we deal with every week. I've seen a few players taking their helmets off on the field. OBJ did it several times yesterday. No penalty.

My understanding is that she has a 15, 11 and 2 year old.
