Still think the Pats win this by a TD or two, but this team needs Hightower and Gronk back next week. Screw putting Gronk in mothballs for the playoffs. The Pats may be the #3 seed by then (could be possibly lower if they didn't have such a cushion over the AFC South and the rest of the AFC East).
Hightower is clearly the MVP of the defense. The run defense and the pass rush is just not the same without him. His loss is more apparent than Collins' was.
And without Gronk teams can load up on the rush more. They don't have anyone who commands a double and triple team on every play.
this is the same defense that got torched by stafford. right now theyre handing us pretty easy.

It's tough to play good situational football when you are without so many key players. If we had Edelman, Gronkowski, Lewis, Dobson, and a 100% Amendola we would have never been running the football there.
COACHING decisions are a primary reason why a lot of teams lose games in NFL....you disrespect a opponent or look past them... Can backfire....BB needs to wake up a bit....this is still a good defensive team we are playing.....and EVERY game is their Super Bowl.....and hell their division is a dumpster fire....THEY might still make the SB!
How the **** is this Chandlers fault ? Whoever drew up this route combination is a moron. How is Chandler supposed to know what goes on behind him ? There might as well have been a defensive back waiting to pick it off if he lets the ball pass.
