According to some reports, the Cassel deal was done by the GM, all on his own, and it was not something Ryan was in agreement with. If Cassel plays even reasonably in Dallas, and Manuel plays like Manuel has generally played in the NFL, things could get a bit uncomfortable in Buffalo.
