why? because I've lived my life as a standup man. You got something to say? You want to run your mouth? Say it to my face. Roger Goodell and his gang of cretins have made it a point to insult me and every other fan of the NEP and have gone to great lengths to brand all of us with a reprehensible tag as "cheaters". I take offense to any man who calls me or my family or my friends dishonest pieces of excrement , which is exactly what they've done. I want MY day in the public spotlight with any one of these goddamned lying azzoles...Lord Hear My Prayer..

Why do you care what other people think about the Patriots fanbase?

Who the **** cares, seriously? You're this way, other fans on here are completely the other way, complaining about any media person who says anything remotely negative about the Patriots.

People are going to say **** to get people to click on articles. They know when "Rodgers is the Best" is up, they know that half of New England will be in their comment section.

I don't think Rodgers is the GOAT, but it's fun to watch him, even though he's got a serious front-runner problem. And even then, he's got a little choke in him as well - so we get to read/see about how Rodgers is the best, even though he blew it again this year. Sort of like Manning. I mean, remember, it took a good 12-13 years for people to realize how big a choker he actually is, and I imagine it will be about the same for Rodgers too.

For now, he gets to get the GOAT pub scot-free. Factual or not.

And it's not.

Also, if you think crap like this doesn't motivate the **** out of Tom Brady to go win another one, you're crazy.

But here are facts: People not from New England hate us. The media hates us, because Bill Belichick doesn't kiss their ass like other coaches, and the same is true for Tom Brady. Yet they continue to win, and the media freaks out, because they don't know anything about football.

I don't care that people hate the fanbase.
I don't care that people hate the team.
I don't care that people hate Bill Belichick.
I don't care that people hate Tom Brady.

**** em.

They hate us 'cause they ain't us, and that's the fact.

And that's just fine with me. Keep winning.

Know what I say to people who go "WAHWAHWAHCHEATERZCHEATEERZOMG"? "Your team should cheat better. Then maybe they wouldn't suck so bad?"

don't get me wrong. i'm on a F U haters train too. but it's obvious that we are a spoiled fan base. we should be. brady and bb spoiled us.

but seriously who gives a #@# if media ball washes rodgers? i mean talk about being so damn spoiled. we have bigger fish to fry. eyes\ and i wish pats fans stop dissing other great players. rodgers is a great friggin player.

I have no issue whatsoever with people saying rodgers is the best qb in the game NOW. Even if I disagree he is good enough to where its not ridiculous. When you start saying he's the GOAT tho, that's a bit silly. He could end up being the goat because he really is that good, but he has alot more accomplishments he has to get to first. With the main ones being more sb victories. The guys has one sb win. He has to do better than that to be the GOAT. IDC what regular season stats he has.

take a chill pill and embrace the hate. at the end of the day, it's just a football.

and deflategate probably extended brady's career by 5-6 more years. seriously. ring #5 will be so damn sweet.

So what? Not everyone's going to like you. And you freaking out every time any ******* from anyplace has something to say, just CONFIRMS WHAT THEY'RE SAYING about you.

Do what the team's doing. Watch them kick ass, take names, we're on to ****ing Cincinnati, **** you media, you're getting NOTHING. And watch all 31 fanbases meltdown into crying pools of suckitude will almost be as good as watching Goodell hand the trophy off.

That's how you win. Every win is a "**** yeah" and every loss by the haters is a "ha".

Revel in their ****ing misery, how they try year, after year, after year, after year to beat us, and they JUST CAN'T ****ING DO IT.

They can call me whatever they want. I'll point at the picture on my phone of the 4 Super Bowl Banners, starting with the last one. That's the mic drop, because there's nothing left to say after that.

I feel like the chiefs should be better, but Alex Smith just can't throw a ball downfield at all

Also, Andy Reid has regressed terribly. He seemed to be on the downslope at the end in Philadelphia, but holy crap he's bad at coaching.

I wonder if Rodgers ball washing has gotten so bad that we will cheer for Peyton when they play each other lol

i cheer for peyton alot. he is a lovable loser IMO. i mean he is so great yet, so bad. i have nothing against peyton. he is a great player. he is no brady, but still great.

no we want rodgers to get the MVP. MVPs don't win the super bowl the same year.

I disagree that we're a spoiled fanbase. Our expectations are where they are because of how the team's played over the last 20 years. We expect winning and greatness because that's what we get, and sports radio can't survive with "rah rah go team" stuff, so they have to dig into negativity in order to get listeners.

If they suck and have a bad game, it's ok to say that they suck and had a bad game. That's not being spoiled. This isn't college, they're being paid to perform. There isn't a college presence here, so our fanbase is a professional sports fanbase, so that's the mentality.

It's like, when people complain that Brady's "still in the game" if they're way ahead. My response is always, "If Brady's afraid of getting hit, he should retire, he gets paid to get hit too".

So no, I don't think we're spoiled. I think there are plenty of us who can sit back and reflect on what we're witnessing at times - but for the most part, the time for that is when it's all over. And, it's not over yet. You know, it sucks the Lions have never made the Super Bowl, sure, but I'm supposed to feel badly about that? That their owners and coaches and management and players except for like Barry Sanders and Lem Barney over the last 50 years have sucked? That's not my problem, and I don't think I should feel bad about that, and I don't think it makes me spoiled to not think "Wow, sure am glad I'm not the Lions".

The Lions are irrelevant to me.

You're right that Rodgers is a very good-to-great player, and fun to watch at times. I don't think I saw a single person in this thread say he "sucks", I think they're just tired of people calling him the Greatest of All-Time, when he doesn't have that kind of resume yet.

Also, the facts that Aaron Rodgers has never come back from more than 9 points down, has just 9 4th-quarter comebacks in 7+ years as a starter, a 2-5 playoff record if you take out 2010 (which you can't, it's just for argument, that he got hot in 2010), one of those wins being against Joe Webb, and two of the biggest playoff choke jobs ever (including just that year) - Those things are allowed to be brought up too, even if they're not in the media, ever. Those, to me, also go to his legacy, and into the discussion as to whether or not he deserves to be "Greatest of All Time".

To me, he's not, and he's going to have to do some pretty amazing things to get into that discussion, in my mind.

So what? Not everyone's going to like you. And you freaking out every time any ******* from anyplace has something to say, just CONFIRMS WHAT THEY'RE SAYING about you.

I don't give a shyt what you or anyone else "thinks" of me. I'll post what I feel when I feel that way...if that's OK with you...and even if that's NOT OK with you. Who friggin' died and made YOU the emperor of board decorum?

Wait. You don't care what anyone thinks about you, yet you freak out anytime some douche from ESPN says something marginally negative about the Patriots?

You're a complex individual.

not complex at all...I respond to jerkoff ESPN azzoles like the rest of the country doesn't. Guess I'm all alone on an island.

right Tommy...and Harlan was there when the entire country was assassinating Brady the last 9 months...OK

again, Mongoloiderine...I am about TWICE your age and have been a Patriot fan since DAY ONE. I have sat through 2-14 seasons in the rain and snow and sleet and wind....22 years as a season ticket holder . I go to every game at home possible. I have seen bad Patriot players, good Patriot players and great Patriot players. YOU sat in class with Brady...wow...color me impressed., YOU assault ME out of nowhere for making what I consider a valid point by being YOU, a midwesterner, heavily invested in that mindset .Put me on ignore so I won't have to endure any more of YOUR unsolicited attacks on MY POV. I'm sure we'll never meet since ,given the choice, it's obvious you'd much rather make the ten minute drive up to Lambeau than to EVER sit in attendance at the Razor

Apparently some of us Pats fans can't have a problem with the national bias against Brady and how since OneandDone Manning has declined they've jumped on Rodgers and/or Luck's jock.

Completely laughable to think because there maybe a handful of national guys that are very pro Bradythat he gets ball washed like the 3 above.

Colts got destroyed 45-7 and Luck had a top 5 worst playoff performance in the history of the playoffs and pretty much everyone had them making the SB this year. That's Luck ball washing to the nth degree and zero respect for Brady and shows the overwhelming national bias against Brady.

And Rodgers? He's Manning 2.0 that can run. Puts up the great numbers in the regular season but when playoffs come isn't the same guy. All the Rodgers ball washers will cry about his defense. I laugh at that notion because Brady isn't allowed to have that excuse. But even with one of the worst defenses in the history of the league he had them in position where they just needed one stop to win a SB.

Rodgers and the Packers were up 19-7 with 7 minutes left in the game get the ball back

3 and out

defense intercepts Wilson with 5 minutes remanining

3 and out

Brady down 10 with 12 minutes to go makes the comeback.

That right there alone is why I roll my eyes at Rodgers is the best QB ****. He might be a great thrower of the ball but guy was up 12 with 7 minutes to go and had two chances to put that game away and he goes 3 and out. "But McCarthy's play calling on those drives". Well then seems like even his head coach didn't have faith in him in that game to end it because he opted not to put it in his hands.

well, I'd agree with you , JMCOO but I'm one of "those" Patriot fans that give the team a bad name because I don't bend over and take it up the strata chocolata every time a freakin' proven hate filled ESPN jerkoff gushes platitudes about any other high profile NFL QB BUT Brady. I am a real POS because I think that giving Rothlisberger the P.ot W. last week is a disgusting display of overt, intentional bias by this scum ridden network. I should shut the hell up and be a "REAL" Patriot fan like everyone else who runs to ram their heads up Aaron Rodgers anal canal.

Gee golly whiz, hey I have an idea...why not let's all get together like "REAL" Patriot fans and hold a benefit "Sorry Roger!" gala with Rodgers and Aikman and Brunell as masters of ceremony. Now THERE'S what a "REAL" Patriot fan would really get behind. Yes sir...THAT'S true fandom right there. "Go ANYBODY but Brady because I'm a huge "REAL" Patriot fan."

Buncha ****nutz....

I don't even know what that means.

If you can't laugh at the haters, then you're feeding right in to what they want. Don't let me stop you, though.

Of course, and that's what pretty much what everyone's saying in the thread to this point. You also left out the part where they had, what, 7 cracks total from the 1 yard line in the first quarter and got 3 points out of it. So clutch. Apparently that passes for GOAT stuff.

The only difference is, are you going to get pissed off at the morons who continue to push that narrative, or are you going to laugh?

25 years from now, if someone tries to argue that Rodgers is better than Brady was, they'll get laughed at. It's like the people who try to argue Elway was better than Montana, although in that case, at least there's an argument to be made.

I mean, Jaworski said, what, 2 years ago, 3 years ago, that Colin Kaepernick could be the GOAT. Are you pissed at him, or are you laughing about it?
