God what a ******** rule. Refs should not be able to blow turnovers dead like that. Let it play out and review it if necessary. There's NO ****ing reason to blow the whistle there. The ONLY thing that can come out of it is screwing a recovering team. If it isn't a fumble, it isn't a fumble. If it is, you just ****ed a team out of 6 points. ********. Let them ****ing play.

Idiots will change a formation rule that the Pats used yet they won't change the whole play was blown dead so even if the call is reversed you don't get the TD you clearly ran in.

"Oddly" we can turn to the Broncos for the answer to that... Offense retains possession. This is actually true even if the defense recovers it "after" the whistle.
