Official League response to WFAN report on Brady appeal

Since their SVP of PR resigned, the good folks at 345 Park Ave has been re-organized and positioned to handle any misinformation that might flood the media with diligence, accuracy and professionalism.

This is a bit reassuring to me though. The quick and rationale response by the NFL tells me it's not the higher ups that are delusional about this, and that the league office itself isn't trying to smear Brady. Instead it tells me it's a rogue individual. Let's see if the NFL can actually do something about it this time.

Yes and no.

This is where Goodell needs to show some leadership and authority here. The rumor is that as a manager of people, he is very hands-off and not one to dictate or reinforce policy inside the NFL offices. He is not good at delving into the details and is very indifferent - bordering on aloof in taking operational control of something that is mission critical. He'd rather delegate.

One would think that he would issue a almost Draconian-esque edict stating that under no circumstances is anyone employed by the NFL to make any outward-facing comments about the NFL vs Brady case.

I know....not gonna happen which is why I expect this sniping to continue. He won't hold anyone internally accountable.

Wow they were quick to correct that but we are stil waiting for them to correct some stuff from January.

Mike Kensil is no "rogue individual".

It doesn't matter when the appeal is. Berman won't be overturned. The haters and league office were saying similar things before the Berman decision, and this is just a rehash of them being absolutely wrong.

We won. Deranged haters lost. Tom Brady beats everyone, including the corrupt Commish.

I won't be convinced until I hear Munson's opinion on this issue.
