Report: McNally and Jastremski to be reinstated with new roles

“They’re almost saying Brady’s guilty by asking to reinstate them,” Simms said, adding: “Any time you have low-level employees, not making a lot of money, for a billion-dollar corporation, that [dragged] this organization through the mud for the last eight or nine months, they would have been fired right away. But, oh wait, we know they were following orders from someone — Tom Brady — to take air out of the football. So in that, yes, it makes Tom Brady, I think, look guilty.

Way to eat your entire foot, Chris.

Of course not, but haters claim that SB was tainted because of deflategate. I'm not one to be bothered by what anyone says about the Pats, so to me it doesn't matter. My point was that for years we heard that Pats haven't won a SB since spygate and then we win one right after this deflategate fiasco. So we have to win another one and another one and another one. Lol
Get used to it. If last week was any example, there may never be another single game, let alone a SB, which won't have a cheating allegation attached to it. This will continue at least until BB leaves, if not longer.

They should be put in charge of the clock since Brady now controls the resetting of it (lol)

Embrace it...because it's not going to end. I am not capable of changing the opinions of others.

New roles because Vincent's letter specifically said that if they were ever reinstated they could not have positions where they'd prepare or handle balls.

After some of the texts that we heard about from these two jamokes I don't want either of them anywhere near anything that could effect a game. Put them in the laundry room, make the Mr. Kraft's personal valets or something, etc.

I'm trying to make sense of this.

The NFL has been jerks about this the whole time. Goodell's appeal ruling had both of them as part of a big long term conspiracy to cheat. They did not admit nor help convict Brady. Yet, the NFL let them back in.

All I can think is they are worried about a lawsuit, or more bad publicity.

If we find out tomorrow the NFL failed to file the necessary papers for their appeal, that will leave me to believe the owners told the league office to end this now.

The old guy retired.

It is "more probable than not" that the NFL finally realized how bad they screwed this whole thing up, are trying to redeem themselves by showing a modicum of kindness... but in my mind it shows weakness.

Aside from being Phil's son, what is Chris claim to fame.. a marginal quarterback that was bounced from team and wound up with 12 TD's and 18 Int's???

Which is ironic, since the mediots and opposing fan bases are likely just contributing to Brady and Belichick's length in careers.

There's no way that either one want to go out like this, and it's only adding fuel to the fire and keeping them even sharper.

In a way, they are actually creating their own problems by whining and throwing around baseless accusations. If Alanis Morisette were still around, she may have even written a song about it.

The necessary paperwork would simply be for an expedited appeal, nothing more.

Again, it hasn't even been 2 weeks since the ruling came in yet. They have more time to file an appeal beyond today. It just means that the case wouldn't be resolved as quickly.
