Has special teams experience as both a returner and coverman.. Doesn't trust his eyes in off-coverage and doesn't recover all that well if beaten. Misses tackles due to poor technique and form.

Based on those tweets it sounds like the Pats have agreed to terms but won't process the deal until Sunday when the rosters have been finalized, which is when you start putting your PS together.

I know. That's why I posted the tweets about it being more agreeing to terms than a signing. Since posting that comment, everything I've seen says "signed" so I'm assuming it was an actual signing instead.

Yeah, I'm a little bewildered by it too. I guess we will know for sure within a day or two.

McCourty aside the rest of our Safeties are pretty redundant we don't really need to carry that much. CB's are way more valuable than Safeties. I understand the move now.

Agreed. CB and OG/C were (and still are) the most likely candidates for a waiver claim or something to that effect.

I'm happy to see we signed a CB. He seems athletic like Roberts. But in this highlight film....nothing here shows any coverage / man skills of any kind. All passes that were INT's were beyond terrible. Regardless he showed very good ball awareness...
