Even in regular season its always slow to start sometimes. People forget that pats get it together. We fan for 15 yrs of this coach and QB should know that .The media makes a big deal about everything .

We only had 5 "WRs" on our roster that year. Welker, Branch, Edelman (before his breakout, this was the year he played CB) Slater (who is a WR in name only) and Chad Johnson. So he was definitely higher on the depth chart than Wayne will be this year.
Branch was old and had lost a couple steps. Johnson actually started the vast majority of the games. Unfortunately, if memory serves correctly he made 15 catches that year...
