Gutless dink burned his bridges a few weeks ago. Now he's chickenshit to face those he disparaged. Earlier this week I suggested the Pats should tell him his ring is in the mail. When you look back on it, he wasn't really "huge". He was above average at times and average at others. Whenver he needed to step up in a big spot he failed. Nelson slant TD, SS x 2 in the playoffs and not to mention getting picked by an official in the SB. He was thrown at quite a bit more than I expected last season.

He was still a big part of what we did although you're right, he had his down moments for sure. He also had a particularly bad game in the first Jets game. So bad, in fact, that it almost looked like he wanted the Jets to win (obviously he didn't, but he didn't play well at all).

I loved Revis and I wish he was still with NE (for reasonable dollars - not his current contract). Feelings be damned. I'd rather win with a-holes than lose with nice guys. When he was in the Patriots, he played, shut his yap, contributed to a SB. That is more than enough for me.

One thing I don't get? Who the hell would ever buy a Revis Jersey? I knew this guy was a rental and would take the best money offered. There is no former Jet that played for this team that I ever had some overwhelming man crush on. I support the Patriots, therefore would never boo a former Jet in a Pats uniform. However I will never be their biggest fan either. F Revis. We used him and he used us. The slate is clean and the hate takes over where it left off.

A lot of people claim this but, I can't remember anybody on this board saying they didn't think he'd sign longterm. The vast majority of this board thought he was here for the long haul (not saying you did). I just think it's funny that script flipped so quickly. Was a huge part of the SB run but he's a dorito dink for bagging on us for framegate.

I'm glad he helped us won the Super Bowl. And I am glad he's now gone. I'd rather gamble on youth than deal with his constant "I need to be the highest paid" crap every year.
