He makes disingenuous decisions.

How is appointing himself as arbitrator protecting the integrity of the game? How is appointing a truly independent arbitrator who has no ties to the NFL, Brady, Patriots, or Ted Wells going to violate the integrity of the game?

If he really cared about the integrity of the game, he would appoint a truly independent arbitrator who has no dog in this fight (Wells was a paid consultant by Goodell) to examine all the evidence and hear both sides of the of the argument and come to a conclusion without any biases.

The only thing Goodell is trying to protect is whatever is left of the integrity of the Wells Report and his reputation. That is it.

What gets me is the term about integrity of the game, but there has been minimal mention of the Vikings and Panthers heating the balls on the sidelines or Rodgers admission that he likes to to have the balls over inflated and hope that the refs don't notice.

Depending on the guage used the Colts had 3 out of 4 balls less than 12.5. There should be issue with the Colts right? I have coached for awhile and love the game of Football, but I am considering getting rid of the Sunday Ticket and only watching CFB.

I feel like my wife cheated on me.

Well i believe the answer your question is obvious, the GAME roger the dodger is protecting is not the FOOTBALL GAME being played on any field in the NFL. The Game roger is the dodger is protecting is the GAME HE AND HIS POLECAT POSSE IS PLAYING AT PARK PLAZA IN THE NFL HQ and that is the only game that counts in his book.

Roger is delusional, and he's driving a bus filled with owners towards a cliff. Fact of the matter is people don't trust Roger one bit, none of the fans. Roger is as smart as a hammer and as useful as one. When the owners want to hammer someone he can be used because he doesn't have a thought in his head. He doesn't weigh integrity of the game, justice, or anything else. He looks around to see what's popular and acts. He could probably be replaced with a computer program.

What should have been asked is how him overseeing the appeal protects the game when fans nationwide think he is corrupt. Putting any decision in his hands doesn't protect integrity, or even the illusion of integrity among fan bases. Are the owners that delusional? I think they are, and I think they are in for a rude awakening at the next CBA negotiations since they have decided to let a tyrant run roughshod over the players completely unaccountable.

The bill for appointing Roger will be paid eventually, and it will come in the form of a likely lockout and major shift in the NFL's power over players. That's my guess anyway.

Goodell lies so often that I'm starting to wonder if he believes them. He has been emboldened beyond belief, Curran asked why Wells didn't address leaks and Goodell said he did. I wanted to chant ******** during his presser.
