remember Bledsoe? Does this flap cost Brady his starting job if Jimmy gets it done?

Brady won't sit 4 games. Reasonable chance he sits zero. But even if Brady sat four games and JG went 4-0, of course Brady regains his starting job. This isn't remotely like a Bledsoe/Brady situation.

It will be an amazing feat, no doubt, considering the transition period for our defense. Given the fact that Garoppolo has limited starting experience but stellar reviews from the coaches, we really don't have a clear picture on how good he is. I would be surprised if we go 4-0, that Cowboys game looks to be scary if we don't have Brady at the helm.

I agree that Garoppolo has a bright future. I do hope it is with the Patriots, but I also hope that we have at least a couple more years with Brady as our QB.

will be very interesting to see how BB handles this. in the back of his mind, i bet bill's thinking about trading brady at some point to recover his 1st round pick that he just lost.

Bledsoe was good but he was no Brady.

The thing about Bledsoe is he was a decent QB for a very long period of time. That is hard to do but that is not what Brady has been.

If Garoppolo goes 4-0 and looks good.... then you put Brady back in and are happy in the knowledge you may have a long term solution after Brady leaves. YOU DO NOT TRADE GAROPPOLO.

Not unless some team offers you an RG3 deal but I highly doubt that happens.

Goodell is so smart when it comes to be a SOB that he covered this base too, if Garopollo makes his name we will not be able to trade him for a 1st round pick because the earliest will be confiscated and our original one will most likely be in the bottom 4 as usual.

Hoping for no suspension but it could be a blessing in disguise. JG gets some game experience, proves to BB he can win, and Brady is fresh as a daisy come playoff time. Then in 2016, JG can play enough to keep Brady fresh again for the playoffs. This could be the beginning of a three-peat!!
