Ad Redirection Issue (title change)

Just a note to those who have been experiencing the redirects, I've submitted emails to try and get those resolved. Hopefully I'll get an answer on Thursday to get them removed and end the issue in here. There was obviously a previous thread in here that looks like it got accidentally removed when I tried to merge another thread on this topic into it

But rest assured as I said in that thread, I'm looking into this issue as I would never, ever partner with an adult/dating website. It appears one of the ad companies is running a redirect that they're unaware of, and hopefully they'll have it resolved tomorrow.

Has anyone encountered this since the other day? Trying to get confirmation that it's been resolved but haven't seen/heard anything from anyone here since then and I haven't been able to trigger it so I'm just checking.

While reading the forum, I was sent/transfered to an adult oriented website, I thought it weird last night and coincidental, but twice on two different devices, is pretty weird, don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but thought I would bring it to the boards attention."

It only happened when I was on my phone. That never happens on my PC. It's the reason I use an ad-blocker on my PC, because I realize that ad clearing houses don't vet their customers properly. It sucks for the webmasters, like Ian, but I have to protect my equipment.

As another datapoint, I am logged in, was in the main PatsFan discussion forum contents page, right-clicked on the "ot: easley converts to islam" link, and got the Adult Finder page. This was Chrome on Win7Pro, FWIW. And I'm running AdBlock Plus.

I was told they shut down a supplier that has occasionally been an issue with these. Hopefully that takes care of it but obviously continue to post here if any of you experience it

Just happened again on Google Chrome Android for me. The funny part (depending on your sense of humor) is that it's a gigantic full screen picture of a naked or half naked woman depending on what shows up. As I said before, quite embarrassing to have show up on your laptop for the people behind you in the middle of class, lol!
