I struggle to envision a scenario where we get both and I would not hate Wilfork returning *IF* we fail to land Knighton. Not gonna lie, I want Knighton on the team real bad. Envisioning Knighton and a resigned Wilfork, Jones and Sheard, Mayo Collins and Hightower up front. That group would be hard as hell to run on, could cover decently AND could smack your QB in the mouth.
As a borderline career hall of famer, Wilfork is not as good as Knighton is today. Knighton is better against the run and can create a push up the middle that we haven't seen from Wilfork since the 2011 season.
I feel that the pair would be too redundant though, espeically with Siliga in a similar role. We'd basically have 3 NT's. Knighton/Easley would be a great combination of interior pressure and run stuffing ability, a move towards younger and more athletic, and a better outlook for the long term.
