I wonder if ryan matthews backs out of his deal with the eagles. Sense he hasnt signed yet

Eagles are about to stupidly overpay Murray. He had 1 good season, in a contract year, behind the best o-line in the league.

They're already overpaying Maxwell. Something like $11m/year

Like pretty much every college coach in the last decade plus or so outside of Pete Carroll, he'll ruin a team and then run back to college.

He's good enough to get $8m IMO. You don't get many NTs come along that are as good as him against the run and at disrupting the passing game.

New England have the cap space to do it too.

He would help our run defense instantly. Its obvious that the plan should be to get stronger in the defensive line. He is a hometown kid as well I believe.

He's reportedly not getting big money from anyone. Teams aren't shelling out big $ for DTs nowadays. Unless it's someone like Suh which the Dolphins vastly overpaid. Because like mostly every other year they have to make that big FA signing that ultimately doesn't help at all.
