I'm not a fan of Harvin but on the positive side of the ledger he would fill multiple roles by replacing Vereen, adding depth at WR both in the slot and outside, and give them an explosive KR.

Read that he prefersto play with n elite qb (jets lol) in a high octane offense. Josina Anderson said that he is going to take another visit after the Bills (even thought it is going well)... If he in fact visits with us after the bills. I like our chances to get him in a 1-2 year prove it deal.

There really isn't anything they can do about the OL right now so I would sign Knighton and Wilfork, that would shore up DT, them sign Tramon Williams or Chris Culliver to start addressing CB. If they can go into the draft just looking at CB on the defensive side of the ball then they can pick up the OL help they need in the Draft. The fewer needs they have in April the greater their ability to package picks and move up to get players they target. They could very easily address two interior OL spots and CB early and be in excellent shape come September.

They can improve the lines of scrimmage in the draft. The Pats need a WR/3rd down back and Harvin fills those roles nicely. They also could use a cornerback. Culliver is available and that Browner guy is too. Then you can use the draft for OL, DT, S, and TE.

I hope that ability to play within the system is more important to the Patriots than how little money
the player will accept.

Browner is not coming back. He is only worth having if the Pats play near exclusive press man. Otherwise, Browner would only be a rotational guy and play mostly on man plays. Unless they magically get a press man #1 CB, the Pats don't need Browner.

Interesting move for a team that basically lit their team on fire this offseason. I expected the Seahawks to be on the phone with Browner immediately, but maybe he doesn't want to go back there. The Jets were another potential landing spot.

Totally agree. They do not want Harvin. The Moss's and Dillion's were problems mostly because of lack of winning. Harvin is a flat out problem because of ego. No thanks. Pats asking for a visit just to drive up cost during final negotiations with bills. Save cap money to beef up the Lines
