Wonder if any talks took place with BB?

Bye Shane and thanks for your contributions!! Folks besides opportunity for James White, that BB stuck Tyler Gaffney on IR all last year. The cupboard is not bare when it comes to replacing his output.

Is it me, or are the Pats the only team that hasn't come straight out and said that they have reached a contract agreement with another team's free agent prior to the commencement of the actual Free Agency period?

This definately opens up a HUGE opportunity for James White. He had 39 catches his Sr. year @ Wis., along with 1,444 yards on the ground.

I agree 100%. This is white's golden opportunity to shine. Regardless of who else we sign, he has to know that if he performs, he is going to be the change of pace man. I think if he stays healthy, he will do some really good things in our offense.

There's a couple of teams. I'm predicting we'll announce we've signed Roy Helu later this afternoon. Probably signed him already but Patriots are too smart to let Goodell take a swipe at us.

This whole tampering and legal tampering thing is confusing. Vereen has made a deal (he signed it according to what I have read on some places). Miami has Suh signed. Other teams have made deals with players like the Colts.

Some, or most, of the deals that have taken place should not be allowed by the league? Seems like Goodell has lost control. Seems like teams are openly ignoring Goodell and his tampering rules and breaking them. Maybe teams are seeing that Goodell is weak and wounded and are taking advantage.

This whole situation is confusing.

@mortreport: As @viccarucci reports, Bills preparing offer sheet for Dolphins TE Charles Clay - Browns want in, too. Clay got transition tag

@RapSheet: The #Saints have called around, open to shopping many of their players, source say. One notable player included: TE Jimmy Graham. For real.

@RapSheet: Reggie Bush is considering a potential return to the #Saints. Also considering the #Patriots and the #49ers, I’m told.

Glazer has this....

Saints and Seahawks are trying to finalize trade Jimmy Graham and a 4th rounder for Max Unger and Seattle 1st rounder

Graham would be great in Seattle, along he is not exactly the world greatest blocker, he would become their best WR.

Actually, I think it's becoming quite clear. When the ruling comes down on the NYJ tampering with Revis Goodell is going to ignore his past rulings and state that that whole issue needs to reveiwed and a knew system set in place. This is controlled chaos, not out of control and now Woody Johnson's transgression can be brushed aside with a minimal fine at best.

As I'm watching this blatent snubbing of the nose to the tampering rules it occurs to me that only one team currently has a pending investigation. The league saying it's "looking into a number of agreements" really means to NE "Oops, well everyones doing it and we can't punish everybody". http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000477438/article/nfl-sends-teams-memo-about-early-agreements

This whole thing will really stink to high hell if Revis indeed winds up back with the Jets.

On the one hand this is a crazy trade, on the other hand the Seahawks will be cap strapped for the next few years. Don't think they will be able to afford much depth. Every mistake in draft will now be magnified..
