Most consider the decades to start in year xxx0 and end in xxx9. Using that criteria, let's look at the teams from 2010-14 (halfway point). I saw this on a Ravens board last year and they were (yes, wait for it...) arguing the Ravens were the best team of the decade to that point (zing!) Of course, only Super Bowl champions were considered, which is fair enough, especially now.

We were already the best team of the naughts (00's). It's interesting that we're leading this decade, as well. Also interesting that nobody names the decades any more (20's, 30's.. 90's... oh now we're stuck.)

Going into the third decade Brady will "only" be 43 and BB will be 67, coming out of it, Brady will be 53 and BB 77.

I think we're on the beam for 30'years of dominance.

The question is, will Bob Kraft be able to still hold the Lombardi at 90?

At one point in the 80's the Redskins were the early leader in the clubhouse for team of the decade. Of course that got tossed aside when the 49ers won two straight. I think the Pats are going to do the same thing and cement their place as the greatest dynasty of all time.

As much as I agree that was before the Salary Cap and Free Agency.. they just kept loading up.

Enjoy this ride folks, this is beyond my wildest dreams, but there will be "bumps in the road" in the future... but BB will be involved with the franchise after retirement, and he will help keep them focused.
