Don't think this is deflation related. I thought this guy would be gone long before the recent faux controversy.

With all the haters back tracking and commish unable to come up with a plan or decision, while staunch allies like Kraft are fed up...

I can't see him standing on that stage in April-May. Dead man walking.

I certainly hope so, i may be wrong but i thought he was a pr guy, and ad executive before he became commish. Hes credited with making the nfl owners rich, but the nfl is so popular i could probably do that. The point is this guy doesn't seem to me at least to have very good management/leadership skills, hes over his head when it comes to anything else but making money.

I believe the hammer will fall down hard on Goodell. We'll see what the reactions are after the investigation this week, but the momentum from the Ray Rice mishandling and all the other shenanigans Goodell has been part of will come back to bite him. He's already feeling it after turning down the Costas interview just days after he said how available he makes himself to the press.

Goody isn't going anywhere. His ousting would show weakness to the NFLPA.

What I do think is that the power-broker owners (see Kraft) will have a chat with Goody and basically put him on a performance plan.

I'm waiting on the deflategate results before guessing on Goodell's fate. However, while appearances can be deceiving, It seemed pretty clear that he's lost Kraft.

His existence shows weakness to the world. haven't you been watching this guy?

I agree that he has been an epic fail but he still has political control over the NFLPA and the owners are making money hand over fist. Sometimes having the devil you know is better than the alternative.

Did the trophy preso seem icy or did I imagine it?

Goodell is a nad sukking acolyte of the Billionaire Boys Club...their personal piss boy. Even Kraft will appear to back him to continue. The person Kraft HAS TO INSIST be gone...and I mean YESTERDAY..is that scumbag green weasel in the woodpile Kensil. HE MUST BE ERADICATED from the NFL offices.

My feelings on this guy are well-known. For me it's as simple as this: he's just not up to the job. He doesn't possess the required skills. I think he's a short-timer. My greatest concern is that he'll see himself as a lame duck and decide to go out in a blaze of glory with a scorched earth policy. I'll leave it at that.

The pic of Goodell and Kraft was taken at Kraft's house before the AFCCG. Not a week before the Super Bowl. That guy should get his facts straight.
All the internet journalists should get their facts straight. I posted those for the top trending articles for Roger Goodell from Google News. The tide is not currently with Goodell, even if people cheer him by punishing the Pats.

I don't know, if Gary Bettman's lasted two decades as a punching bag, I can see Goodell staying on for a while.....

Goodell booed after the Super Bowl. LOL

Goodbye you fool. The clock is ticking.

Never thought RG was really in any trouble even though people keep talking about his demise. But last night - with the comment re : declining an interview...... To fine for not talking to the media and then not being interviewed by your championship game telecast is very bizarre. This telecast is the single craziest money maker they've got.
