League Testing Earl Thomas for HGH

let's just for a second assume he tests positive... does that mean he gets disqualified for the SB?

I would imagine he would immediately appeal, and there's no way that would settle before the Super Bowl, so he'd play either way.

Greg Doyel thinks...er...uh...no, wait, Greg Doyel is not capable of conscious thought...put it this way, Greg Doyel has a severe internal brain spasm that sends jumbled electrical signals throughout his cerebral cortex leading to a series of *urks* and *garks* and *spluts* that his specialized Drug-on Naturally Speaking program translates into words.

goodell and the nfl are a complete joke with zero credibility on any and all issues. they are suspect. they cant be trusted. they are incompetent.

After Vinatieri got tested immediately following a 53 yard field goal, I'm skeptical how random this random drug testing really is.

Regardless, I'm of the belief that players should be allowed to use HGH (under doctor supervision) for injury recovery. So I hope they don't find anything, as I feel it would be an unfair thing to hit him with right now.
Allowing them to use HGH under a doctor's supervision during the off season is plausible.

Yeah, and there would have to be VERY specific guidelines for when it is allowed (maybe a list of injuries where it's allowed), but if I'm not mistaken HGH is used for non-athletes to help with recovery, so not being able to use it at all seems like too much to me.

I'm pretty sure he's clean. Logically, it wouldn't make sense for him to "complain" on twitter like that if he knowingly took something. He'd end up looking like an idiot.

Yeah, to be honest I think HGH shouldn't be a banned substance. If players want to recover faster, then I'm a-okay with that.

Would have been better as an open letter:

Dear Aunt Lur'Sprae,

Please include me in your prayers so I could heal and be at a competitive level to defeat the New England Patriots.

Sincerely,

Earl Thomas

As to the subject, I'm sure it's more posturing than actually feeling better. He's got to be hurting.

HILARIOUS!!! LOL

The leaking by the NFL is absolutely disgraceful. That front office needs to be bleached clean.

Too bad the media won't accept that. Nobody believes BB over BSgate

They should be testing both him and Sherman. Wouldn't surprise me if they were using some illegal substance to heal faster.
They both went to this guy for advice:
