I don't know if you remember or even knew, but I responded to one of your posts on a Jets board last year and tried to get the Jets fans to talk some football with you. I tried to let them know you would be a great addition to their board. They crapped on that too. They'll never learn.

I think BB always uses the "let the league look into it" line whenever he's asked questions like that. It's his non-football version of "We're on to ______"

You never can tell. Goodell used the "I said I was sorry, that should be sufficient" defense during the press conference about Ray Rice. He might look at Johnson's apology and think everything is all set.

With Revis, I'm not so sure that it matters. As I've said, Woody fired Rex.. and Rex was the only reason Revis might consider heading back to the Jets (obviously just my opinion).

But, imagine with a player like Talib? It might be wrong of me, but I still suspect he took himself out of last years championship game out of worry that he was going to injure himself out of a huge payday signing during his upcoming free-agency a week or so later.

So the more that I think about it, the more I think tampering has the potential to be a tangible negative.

Ask your wife or your girlfriend what they think of your ex's letting it "be known" that they'd have you back. With some couples, that knowledge is going to have a potentially insidious impact on your relationship.

The NBA voids deals between teams and hasn't been dragged into court, but not the signing of free agents. The key here is that Revis under contra contract for 2014 and 2015. He doesn't become an unrestricted free agent until 2016 unless the Patriots cut him and his $25 million total cap number for 2015.

Does the NBA ever forbid the player from signing with the team which was a party to the voided deal? Can the NFL tell a FA you can sign with anyone except the Rats?

I'm no lawyer but I think that would be an illegal restraint of trade.

I remember some incident a few years ago. The details escape me, but I think a free agent signing was voided, the player became a FA again and wasn't allowed to sign with the original team.

I haven't trolled in this thread. Asking for a first round pick swap is unreasonable, it's really simple as that.

So is losing a #1 pick for having a camera in the wrong location.

No punishment was issued to the Rats when THEY had a camera in the wrong location.

Listen to the audio of it once it is posted on EEI's site. BB was very direct in stating that this is definitely something the league should look into. BB despises Woody Johnson.

Goodell's clout and credibility have taken a huge hit lately. If Kraft decided to push this hard, he could probably get some pretty good compensation out of this. I truly hope Kraft takes this opportunity to strike a blow against a bastard who's repeatedly f'ed him over, and perhaps get a small measure of restitution for the absurdly harsh penalties of Spygate.
