No, it was Ellis Hobbs who gave up the TD to Burress. That TD is actually on Pees and Seau for calling an asinine 7-man blitz in that situation leaving Hobbs 1-on-1 with a 6'5" receiver.

I want to see this guy run out of town in NY. It would make me soooo happy. I know 2 superbowl wins buys you a lot of good will but 2 straight seasons of suckage has to have people aggrevated. How much longer can he suck until he's on the hot seat? If he sucks at the beginning of next year we should start to hear about his job be in question.

Edit: Eli really didn't suck this season I just assumed he did b/c the Giants had a poor record. Also he's 33 so I'm not sure he would be run out of town so much as forced to retire.

The Patriots put an undersized Ellis Hobbs on Plaxico Burress as they decided to blitz. Hobbs came back throwing his hands in the air as if to say "what the hell could I have done?"

You are correct that Rodney Harrison was in coverage on the helmet catch though.

I'm pointing out the only record against them that matters. I should have said Super Bowl record in my original post but I assumed most people would understand I meant Super Bowl. I didn't just forget the regular season finale in 2007 or the Week 8 lost in 2011. I don't care about them.
