This is for all Patriots fans, not just draftniks. There has been many threads and discussions on the draft forum, but now in two weeks we will be selecting players that will shape our team in the future.

So, if the Patriots did some ofthe things in this poll, would it make you happy.

Sign Al Wilson, trade #24 & #28 to draft Laron Landry...

Trade back from #24 to allow the Saints to get Greg Olsen before the Jets and pickup the Saints #27 and another third rounder. Trade both third rounders for a #2 and get:

#27 Michael Griffin S - Texas
#28 Anthony Spencer DE/OLB - Purdue
#58 David Harris MLB - Michigan

Signing Samuel to a long term non-bank breaking deal and getting two major contributors to the 2007 addition of the Pats team.

Trade both our picks for their number one next year and a second and fourth this year.

Overall its not the strongest draft and later round guys may be just as good as many in the first round after the best top ten are gone (russell, quinn, landry, adams, hall, griffin ect) its a real crap shoot - next year got to be better.

You mean Al Wilson who Denver is releasing and failed his physical with the Giants?

I changed my mind. Get a first rounder and a 2008 second rounder for "Greedy Mc money bags". Go into this draft with 3 first rounders and start wheelin and dealing. get picks for next year, and pick up the best players we can.

Trade our number 28 and a number 5 to Tampa for their two number 2's. Then the draft would look like:

Pusluszny with number 24
Michael Griffin with number 35
A running back, maybe Tony Hunt (Cory Dillon clone) at number 64

That would be a very good first day.

Not to mention he has called a press conference for this afternoon -- most likely to retire.

Edit: Nope, word is that he's being released today, and has called a press conference to thank the Fans. Classy.

Reggie Nelson please. I am not a fan of Griffin.

This is what I'm hoping for...

#24 - Chris Houston
#28 - Paul Polsuszny

I'd like a LB, S, and CB on Day One.

I'd be awful tempted by Ross or Houston if they are available at 24, then hope for Griffin, Beason, Posluzny, Harris, or Meriweather at 28.

All of the above would certainly make me happy, but I checked "none of the above" in the off chance that my wife checks out this poll as none of the options would qualify as making me "really happy".

Signed off on none of the above, because no matter what we think, or the national pundits think.. the Pats will do something different, so if they do something expected they will break their successful mold.

I just think this draft is realy weak and so are these choices!!! Pats should take their one ranked 1st round player that's left and then trade #28 for a pick next year imo.

This is the answer I like. Seriously, anything they do will make me happy as long as it improves the team without breaking the cap.

Anything defense related. Would love to see us stockpile some LB's and/or secondary help, BUT with Pioli and BB I've come to expect the unexpected.

A solid safety and Lb would make me happy...

Filling needs and getting better. I'm a simple guy.
