I just stumbled across this on YouTube and thought there was a bit of interesting Pats stuff. My favorite bit was, "You don't really coach Brady, you just guide him along..." (I may have botched the quote a bit.)

Good find. Thanks

Can't understand why CBS thinks fans in NE would rather watch Denver vs Rams than this game.

Assuming the Rams win, I'm fine with that choice.

I would be as well except the Rams are going to start Shaun Hill, so it's likely the game will be over in the first half.

Nice interview with Hoyer, a real class guy. I am so happy for him.

He says of Mallett: "Strongest arm I've ever seen."

Diplomatically, though, didn't say anything about Ryan's head. LOL

And Hoyer also says, "When people think of me, I want them to think... 'winner'." 9-3 to this point, Brian. I think they do, so far.

Hoyer admitted that the ultimate compliment for him is when someone compares him to Tom Brady.

"He's the guy I learned from, he's the guy I look up to, he's the guy I always strive to get to his level and it will always be that way, so any comparison to him is an honor,'' said Hoyer.
How can one not root for him ? And I like him even more that he doesnt hold a grudge for getting cut after being a restricted FA.

I'm sure he meant it in the most positive and genuine way possible, but to me saying the best thing about a QB is "he has a strong arm" is like telling a woman her greatest attribute is her boobs.

Acc. to a Houston poster "Brady, Hoyer and Mallett have something else in common: they all played college ball in the State of Michigan. In November 2007 Hoyer played against Mallett, who took only one snap—and fumbled it. Mallett was very (VERY) fumble-fingered during his first year at Michigan. That was an overlooked and unreported reason why little attempt was made to retain him when a new coaching regime and scheme was introduced at Michigan in 2008. Presumably he's improved in that area since.

It also didn't help that Rodriguez wanted someone like Pat White, who is basically the exact opposite of Ryan Mallett.

and to think Hoyer has been winning without the Browns best offensive weapon.

Josh Gordon is back this week. He doesn't get nearly as much hype as Megatron, but he might be just as good. His numbers were better than Megatron's last year and that was with a lot of instability at QB

Thanks for sharing this find
