His excuse is brilliant. He was at the movies and he screwed up the times because he didn't understand he was in the Pacific Time Zone and that they are three hours behind East Coast time. This is the starting QB of the NYJ!

So he can't understand the complexities of the differences between Eastern Time and Pacific Time and the Jets expect him to read defenses?

If he saw the movie "The One Hundred Foot Journey", that'd be 19 feet more than his actual passing yardage.

I want the Jets to to be good enough for Rex to keep his job. He's a good enough coach to keep them out of the basement but he's a terrible head coach and will always dig his own grave. He could provide years of entertainment. I'm sure he's going to draft a defensive player next year (first round) if he's still around... maybe a linebacker this year (lol)... he's the perfect Jet coach.

Don't worry. Rex will invite Woody to the team kegger at the end of the season and buddy around with him at the party and Woody will give Rex a ten year extension. Woody consistently has shown that his only business skills are that his grandfather was a genius businessman. Woody and Rex's relationship is like the high school jock who says high to the school nerd in the halls because he feels bad for him and the nerd idolizes him because of it.

This is an absolute stupid argument! Three hours early?!? He showed ten minutes after the meeting ended. That means he would have only been one hour and fifty minutes early.

Here's how I think it went down and why the movies was an excuse.

1) They were up to no good and probably in an altered state of mind
2) The decided in that altered state of mind, that they could be a few minutes late (lol)
3) The team started calling their cell phones about 5 minutes after the meeting started
4) They were too f'cked up to answer so they came up with the movie excuse as to the reason they didn't
answer their cell phones. "We had to shut them off in the theater" (yea, I know they could set them to vibrate but they're idiots).
