Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Chiefs Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Matthew Slater is the MVP of the Patriots tonight. The only guy who came to play.

How do they fix this?

At this pace Brady will get his 215 yards next week, or maybe against the Bills.
Against the Bengals D? Good luck projecting that if the Patriots can't move against the Chiefs.

Seriously how is that not a fumble?

I have the sound off

We have one of the 10 worst offenses in the NFL

Hoping for a final score of 45-0 just to leave no doubt that we are utter ****e on both sides of the ball

The lone bright spot is Slater. Dude's easily the best gunner around.

The good: the OL has pass protected far better than expectations. It hasn't been perfect by any stretch but it has been, surprisingly, pretty good.
The many bad:
-Coaching (a) Whatever MP/BB had the D practice this week was flat out wrong. KC is not thing good on O, the Patriots are not that bad. This performance is in good part on the coaches preparation. Second half adjustments better be superior to whatever MP/BB thought the Chicfs would do on O coming into the game.
-Coaching (b) Why is Ridley not getting touches? It's contributing to tougher 3rd down situations and, IMHO, misusing Vereen. Right now the Patriots need to be running with their hardest hitting RB.
-Brady and/or receivers and/or expected areas of success(play calling). Brady has time, this is not an OL thing. This is explained (at least this time) elsewhere.
Right from tackle one I noticed the D lacked fire. It's MNF on national TV. I don;t care if someone pissed in your wheaties, show some fire.

Great! The one spot that looked improved flops right out of the second half gate, the OL. Super......

we know what this team is made of now....lots of weakness and no pulse at all........could be a long year

This is e firs time in years that I feel this team won't make the playoffs. I really hope I am wrong...
I'm normally very optimistic but I feel the same as well
