Jerry Jones being sued for sexual assault

I'm no fan of Jerry Jones. When these skanks go around acting like gutter sluts and all of a sudden their pics end up on-line for Mom to see they get all pissed off and look at any angle to make some $$$$$

Doesn't look like any force or arm twisting being used in those pics.

Send Ray Rice after her!

Of course, due process has to take place, but I'm personally having a very hard time believing her story with the info I have available to me right now.

Some old expressions come to mind:

Never underestimate the power of the pu**y

If you're not gettin sued, you're not tryin hard enough

What's the point of being King of Texas if Little Prince Jerry has to stay locked up in the castle

I wonder what Bob Kraft will say about this when asked.

Probably something like " I have known Jerrrrrry Forrrr aaaa looooong time and knowiiiing Iii was comiiing oooon here I justttt want toooo make clearrrrr that Jerrrrry Jonnnnnnes neverrrr knewwwww he wasssssh sexxxxxuallllyyy assauteing that woman."

I need to see the video

But I don't want to see the video because then I will know what is on it

Knowing what I know he won't be allowed to watch the halftime show at the cowboys next home game

I'm convinced the way Bobby sometimes sounds completely sloshed that Fitzy is his illegitimate son.

Much as I like him and appreciate what he has done for the team, fans, league and game I think he should step aside because his stupid comments and shilling for the leagues bad ideas will ultimately diminish his greatest accomplishment, which was clearly his role in ending the lockout.

Hang them up Bob and enjoy the fruits of your labor, just cover your jimmy when you are doing so. You are headed for the HOF if you don't keep saying stupid sh.t.

If he's dumb enough to allow himself to be put in the position where pictures were taken, he's dumb enough to deserve this. As a billionaire, he has more than enough to seek gratification with a high degree of anonymity.

So he deserves to be accused of sexual assault because he took some immature pictures? Does not compute...

Absolutely. And it's not just allowing pictures to be taken, but also allowing himself to grope, or be groped. Every millionaire is a target whether they like it or not; it comes with the territory, and has, since the dawn of civilization.

Even more so for billionaires, I would imagine.

Maybe I just don't understand your logic or I'm misunderstanding you altogether here, but have you seen those pictures? Those women look like very willing participants. You almost come off like you're saying he deserved this because he has money. Do you have something against someone amassing a large amount of wealth?

Maybe they were willing, but Jones is married, and as far as I know, does not have an open marriage, so this is effectively a scandal for him.

I have nothing against someone having a great deal of wealth as I myself have no need for such surfeit, but if s/he feels entitled or immunized because of having this wealth, I would have no sympathy for him/her. The same would apply if Jones was hit with tax evasion.

The best thing Jones could have done, had he wanted some immediate gratification, was to stay home, or in his hotel suite, and order a couple of high class "escorts." He allegedly had to paid out at least 100k to keep someone quiet.. that's more than enough change to pay for the prior.

Instead he chose to go out in public, and fool around with women he doesn't know, and suddenly gets hit with accusations of sexual assault. What did he expect was going to happen?

You've changed your argument now. What you said before was that Jones deserved this, not that you have zero sympathy for him. It's hard for me to have sympathy for Jones as well but I don't think anybody deserves to be accused of sexual assault if they are innocent of it (which people are in this country until proven guilty in a court of law). Further, it's looking now like you think he deserves it because he's wealthy and made a dumb mistake. I really don't know where to begin with that one.

No I haven't changed my argument one bit. By saying "what did he expect was going to happen?" I am reaffirming that it is my opinion that he deserved it, as he, a married man, put himself in that position. Nobody else did.

And no, nobody deserves to be accused of sex assault without merit, but let's look at it this way- no billionaire goes for a walk alone in Compton at 3 a.m. in the morning even though he has every right to, and neither should he (in that he is married and has social status) put himself in a situation where 1) liquor is involved 2) cameras are involved 3) unsavory characters he doesn't know, are involved.

Sorry that you are getting your panties in a bunch over this; I do agree that it's probably unfair to him, but that's how it is, and always has been. People with a lot of money have always been targeted by those seeking financial shortcuts, that's just a fact.

"what did he expect was going to happen?" "Walk alone in Compton"
...so, rape victims should not dress provocatively?

This week just keeps on giving

I can't help but think of the AFC Championship game against Jacksonville (96 season). Robert took the podium and slurred his appreciation of Bill Parcells as "the best coach in modern football history." Everybody in the building knew that Robert was absolutely pickled.

Someone called the old WEEI whiner line the next day and said "When did Dudley Moore become owner of the Patriots?"

(Apologies to those too old to remember the movie "Arthur.")
