One can't be "fair" with a team and a head coach that teaches organized in game tripping of opponents and then fires the gopher when they get caught.

He must be crushed that he cannot play in the last preseason game. I know most veterans who have been in the league for almost a decade live for playing that fourth preseason game. I can't think of a punishment worse than this. Maybe they will really punish him and give him a million dollar bonus.

Only in Jets Land can your punishment for skipping a preseason game that doesn't count, be getting suspended for the next preseason game that doesn't count.

But, when they tell Vick not to challenge Geno for their starting job, and he does what they say, they rail him in the media for following their direction.

I guess the message here is, don't do what we say, just do whatever you want. You'll get a nice little vacation potentially!

I too wanted Hill, he had the same exact pedigree as Calvin Johnson. He was great in college, playing in a running offense. He should be a perfect fit for the Jets offense. He is big, can block and has the ability to make big plays. But he has been awful as a Jet. Maybe its the uniform. It's weird how getting drafted by the wrong organization can absolutely kill your career. The Pats have too many WRs on the roster now to give him a shot if he gets cut. But I bet Hill's career would have turned out much better if he was drafted by the Pats.

Only one of them was good to great in college, CJ had about 3x the number of receptions of his in his final year, and more than Hill's entire career in his sophmore season alone. ...hell, even CJ's rookie season had only one less reception than Hill's entire college career.

Hill was drafted off of the combine alone. CJ actually had a college career to back him up.
