Chris Jones with a would be sack

Ebner dropped an easy pick.

Says less about Revis and more about KT.

It was a joke.

They aren't in pads yet, though. I am not getting too excited about anything done in shells. Revis is a monster at the line of scrimmage, playing in shells means the best part of his game is neutralized. If Thompkins does this when they put on the pads this weekend, I will start paying attention.

Thompkins has been turning heads since OTAs so far, but he was great last year in June and August. He needs to show me in September through February. I am not down on the guy, but I still need to see him do what he is doing now in the regular season.

Ridley with a nice one handed catch reaching back.

Looks like Thompkins joining the "200lbs club" as he put it has helped him out a bit then.

In KT, I see a special athlete.......its the hands that were the problem. With a year under his belt where he was thrown into the fire before he was mentally ready ( insert "speed of the game" references here) I am hoping he can be more more than a bench substitute. The Pats WR corps needs a special player......and KT may be that guy....eventually

To be fair, I was amazed how well the WR core did last year. A bunch of rookies who had to cope Welker leaving and Amendola being injured/sucking.

It can only get better for Thompkins and Dobson (if fit) this year

I hope James White becomes our Doug Martin, if White catches as well as he runs he migt be our featured RB.

I might flip that around and say that the challenge for White is to run as well as he catches. IMO he's at his best in the passing game, both as a receiver and in pass protection.

From what little I saw on film he is very aggressive and has a fierce ability to cut and change direction.

James white is another binky. He looks quick and at one point it looked like Fears gave him some props.

Based on this incredibly small sample size, does he remind you much of Vereen? His game tape looks better than his measurables from what I've seen. His scouting reports all seem to say some kind of variation of "not an explosive athlete", but his highlights show some real burst imo

I'm so thankful for these training camp threads. They're like a glass of water after a 50 mile trek through the desert :)

Exactly! Justin Joones doesn't need long Speed in this Offense if the others do their jobs the Defense cannot account for everybody. If Jones display that quickness he's going to stick. Signbabybrady is there any news on TE Asa Watson have you seen him?
I've watched him a little nothing stood out yet but clearly Jones stands out just on size. I wouldn't say either is ahead yet throw DJ and Bynam in too they all look like they are pretty close and no idea who will win the TE3 spot just like Jones cause of his size agility combo still a long way to translate that to the field.

For perspective Whoman still looks better.

Through 2 practices his hands have been great he has made several tough Catches!

I am real high on KT he is gonna be a beast!

I would not say he reminds of vereen. Vereen definitely seems more explosive. I guess what I like so far is he seems like a more all around back than I realized and not just a 3rd down/scat back type like Vereen. I kinda pegged him as Vereens back up and I think his role could be more than that.

Ebner my boy is killing himself and is going to get himself kicked right out of a job.
He was in the right position before the drop. But he makes the team on STs either way.

SBB - Great write up.. But who is VAreen?? When was he added? I know VEreen and he's the really athletic 3rd down back that the Pats drafted to replace Faulk/Woodhead..

I am a reverse skitzo instead of creating my own multiple personalities I create multiple for other people as I write it both ways like an idiot.
