Guys, Wiggins made a great observation on the air. He said that Peyton Manning was responsible for the botched snap. You can tell by looking at the offensive linemen. All 5 blocked right when the ball was snapped. If the snap count was wrong because of the center, then all those linemen would've stayed still waiting for Peyton to call it again.

So, when Peyton called it at the line he was the one who forgot the snap count. All 5 linemen block at exactly the same time the ball was snapped.

Look at the linemen - they all try to block at the same time it's snapped:

Fat chance...to be ignored.

Then let us spread the word! Peyton , not the center, blew it!

I e-mailed the clip to Dilfer...can't find Aikman's link...MMQB gets a copy...as do ESPN and NFLN...hoping Irvin or Deion pick it up when Peepoo Faulk starts running his mongo mouth about Peytie Greatie...

Yup, just ask Troy Aikman, who basically said it would have been a credit to Manning if they won but that you can't blame the loss on him.

I really, really cannot believe he said something so blatantly stupid.

Yes!

Edit: I sent it to Mike Sando since he coves the NFC West for espn, hoping he'll have interest.

Hah -- yes.

So of allllllll the analysts out there, Jermaine Wiggins — JERMAINE WIGGINS OF EAST BOSTON — is the only one to see this? Too funny.

Sando is the biggest Manning ball washer there is.

well..only thing one can say in manning's defense is that the WRs all stood still. Essentially poor poor coaching . They didnt know how to get 11 guys on offense in sync. and we can blame peyton since 'he is the coach on the field' isnt he ?

Jermaine Wiggins said it, WRs are all watching for the ball to be snapped. They don't go on the snap count.

Pretty much copied what Heath Evans already said on nfln

Hilarious, nice find Wiggs. Brady would take the blame for it whether it was his fault or not. Interested to see what Peyton says.

We'll never find out because no one will ever ask him. Nothing negative ever sticks to the Mannings.

But.. but.. Bedard on MMBQ said it is just people's "perception" that Manning chokes and is not able to win the big one and this has nothing to do with his legacy.

I tell you I tuned in specifically and expecting to see a Manning choke in the fourth quarter and got more than I bargained for.
