Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Broncos AFC Championship game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Bill has been holding back.

Here comes the pass rush

How dare some of you even question Brady when he's throwing to sub 6'0 guys and a banged up Dobson.

You people are amazing, when they are open they still don't have a wing span or jump to make a play. There is a reason those numbers are important at the combine: because you want to know if they can make the tough plays.

Collie is 6-1 and Edelman is 6-0.

so if brady had a 6'4 WR...he would catch bradys 10 foot high overthrow?

The one to Edelman with Thomas speed he would likely come up with it yes ( Brady still needed to hit that one) and the one to Collie no doubt.

If Talib doesn't play in the second half the Pats should let him walk in the offseason. No point in paying a corner shutdown money if he's never out there when it matters. Too injury prone for the money he'll command

What the hells up with this site? Get some freaking bandwidth! The orange mane loads a larger amount of post's in like split seconds. Patsfans? White screen half the time. WTF?

There are issues with the Chat room too. Where are the mods when you need them?
WTH is client11.addonchat.com?

Does anyone realize Tom is throwing to a STer and two 5'10 slot WRs?

It's a little easier if we had, you know, a 6'4 #1 WR and a 6'3 #2 WR.

This. The window he has to throw in is incredibly small. BUT he did miss Edelman on the PA pass

This doesn't look like a close game at all,we're getting demolished.

the injuries and lack of experience and rookies combined with denver being sharp might be the end of us. sucks to be this way.

it's amazing that people are blaming the WRs for bradys overthrows

They need to try play action more, the Broncos bite on it every time. Try some runs with Ridley.

I agree to an extent. There's a real talent gap, and we can't win if we don't execute really well. We've had teams in the past that could win with their B- games in the playoffs, but this isn't one of them. We're not that good.

We don't have a snowball's chance in hell if our best player can't make a downfield throw to save his life. We have to get peak performance out of those that we do have and that starts with Brady. If not then meh, we didn't have good players to begin with and even the ones that were supposed to be good played poorly. Can't expect to win against anybody that way.

I think everyone on here deep down knew the passing game was dead as soon as that helmet hit Gronk's knee.

That is a fact no matter how much you want to deny it. Ridley is an elite running back but he's neglected to the point where he has no confidence so forget about that factor.

Wouldn't go that far. We're still in this game. We just need to show some signs of life and score a touchdown.

************, refs and our sucky receivers. We knew who was on this team prior to this game and almost all predicted victory. What changed? Brady shatting up the place - that's what.

Manning has a brick wall for an offensive line. We can't get an ounce of pressure on him so far.

Time to start blitzing Manning, this is way too easy for him. I can't believe Denver loses Clady and people still cant get to this slow footed 38 year old QB, this is mind boggling.
