Looks pretty ugly; wet like Buffalo, maybe warmer but the wind looks much stronger.

Foxboro Hourly Weather - AccuWeather Forecast for MA 02035

This shapes up for a field position, minimize critical mistakes (turnovers) game.
Since both teams have very good turnover differentials, I would expect low scoring; running game and special teams a premium.

Andrew Luck has never played an NFL game in the rain....hmm...

Like Buffalo is good, as long as we recover all the turnovers.

weather for Saturday

Hope Ridley and Blount are ready to power their way through the colts Dline and hold onto he dang football this time!!!!!

The Pats tend to fumble the ball in the rain. I am worried…I wanted snow - lots of snow.

That's not good news at all. The two games that this team has played in the rain this season, they have been very, very sloppy. Hopefully our guys can hold onto the ball and their's can't. Hopefully if our guys can't hold onto the ball, there will be another one of our guys around to recover it.

ouch....i expect a fumble and drop party.

Hopefully that experience pays off.

Worst weather we could hope for. Our guys cannot hold on to the ball in the rain.

Crap. I'll take snow over rain any day. Hopefully it will screw up the Colts' passing game and Legarret Blount will become the new Adrian Peterson. GO PATS!!

I guess I am the contrarion. Wind & rain makes it tougher to pass and we can morph into a running team a lot better than they can.

Yes exactly, dome team comes in to cold windy rainy foxborough. A team that is build upon passing. Playing against a cold weather team that played their last game in identical weather. Gotta like that.

Plus, the Patriots have shown the recent ability to punish teams with their running game, going against a dome team that isn't very good against the run. Sounds pretty good to me.

I thought it was only a 60% chance of rain.

Doesn't say how much rain, ie how hard. Light rain is different than a driving rainstorm.

wow, now it says 100% chance of rain! And windy! Me no like! Luck throws a good ball, not sure who it hurts more. Hilton probably has tiny little hands, won't be able to hold onto the ball.

The Pats tend to format the ball a ton in the rain. I am worried…I wanted snow - lots of snow.

What's the storage capacity on those things anyway? :D

The Colts will probably pound Trent Richardson. HA HA HA!!

We dont need no stinking rain. Ground and poun.... eeew. Did I just say that :blah::noidea:

The positive is that we just played in these exact conditions two weeks ago so I can only assume that we'll be more prepared for it.

Dink and Dunk and Ground and Pound was going to be our game plan anyway so it's status quo.

The WORSE the weather the BETTER!!! It is obvious which team this benefits. The weather could be our 12th man.

I'm not convinced if this is good or bad for the Pats or Colts, but I am 100% sure that it is bad for me.

Count me in as one who prefers to just line 'em up in ideal conditions. Our best vs their best.

I don't think these added elements to have to worry about. Our offense looked putrid in the rain vs the NYJ and at CIN, and even vs BUF when we ran well, they still fumbled too much.

This looks like it's going to come down to whether or not we can hold onto the ball and have success in the running game, although it could make it easier for IND to stack the line a bit more if they don't think we're going to have much success passing--although that may be an extreme scenario depending on how bad the elements are.
