I think collie will be re signed. Just for depth purpose. I don't want to see slater out there.

But I don't like the idea of 2 weeks rest. Can't have too much time off IMO.

They've got a center and two tackles on the practice squad. One of the Tackles is from Rutgers, which makes you wonder why he isn't starting already.

We have five wide receivers plus Vereen. Even without Boyce, we can run a 5 wide. So, I don't see any real need for Collie.

With regard to "rest", I am talking about injured players needing not to make their injuries worse.

I think collie will be re signed. Just for depth purpose. I don't want to see slater out there.

I think Collie did a decent job when needed, he's a good option to play on the slot and got under the system pretty fast.

Unfortunately (or not) , too many slot receivers on the roster. If Edelman do not stay or move to the outside, then there's a chance for him to be back next season and be amendola's backup .

I like both...but what has Collie done in a Pats uniform or any uniform for that matter to make you say that? His YAC is 1.8...1.8 on 6 receptions (4.5 for his career) his Yards per reception this season is 10.5. Thompkins YAC is 4.5 not great but matches Collies career average....but his Average per reception is 14.6 second only to Gronk on the Pats.

Agreed, especially if Dobson will be gone for a while. Hopefully 2 weeks is long enough for Dobson to get back, BUT, I see Davis being cut and Collie playing in at least our first playoff game.
