Baltimore is fighting for their play off spot and winning games, four in a row.
If the Patriots lose, that's the season. For the first time since 2008, I'll basically have no hope. I'll always know #12 can overcome everything, just not team mates that can't catch perfect passes, and if we lose, my crystal ball says that'll be the reason why.
We would lose the #2 seed, we would have to go on the road, and Baltimore would be riding the team-of-destiny wave to the Winterbowl at Metlife.
(A game that they, like us, can beat anyone in)
The season would just be over. Let's face it. If Baltimore beats us, it's over, and we just wait to see how it eventually ends.
On the flip side, if the Patriots rally after the Miami screwing by crushing Baltimore's post season hopes with a strong road win, I'll be back to really impressed, which is how I've felt about the team all season long.
The winner of this game is going to be the team nobody in the AFC wants any part of. I really believe the winner of Patriots v Ravens is going to start rolling and peaking going into the post season. I've never made a guarantee since one blew up in my face at 18-1, and I'm not making one now, but I have a strong instinct that the winner of this game is going the distance.
One way or another, this game on Sunday defines our season.
