No way would I want Blount on 3rd and short near the end zone. He's terrible picking up short yardage because he runs too high. Ridley on the other hand is money in those situations when he doesn't fumble.

Yeah, he called for the defense to have a free run at Brady so he just has to throw it away on 3rd down. Personally, I would call for a play where people actually pick up their blocking assignements, but when Brady is forced to throw it away it is a high percentage play.

Seriously, how is it McDaniels' fault the o-line screwed up their blocking assignment?

It is presumably McDaniel's fault for going shotgun empty backfield on 3rd and 2.

Patriots are calling it a head injury for Solder, so all signs point toward the fourth concussion of his career and second in 8 days.

That makes him all but certain to miss next week vs. the Ravens too. I wonder if it is something to do with his technique, it seems odd to have a OT who is 6’8 have so many head injuries.

Damn it! Solder might have to shut it down for a while if it is another concussion. How is a guy nearly seven feet tall getting so many concussions. Half the guys he is defending against come up to his chest when both are standing upright.

Two concussions in 8 days. That sucks really bad, and the worst part is that it'll probably affect him his entire life.

He's played like sh:t all year and half of last.....bigger picture is he may want to retire due to these rapid occurring concussions

Yup. Ridley is great down in the red zone so it pains me to see them not give him the carry in that situation.
