By the way, the stats argument for Manning is easily defeated: Brady has a higher QB rating than Manning both indoors and outdoors.

I used to like Letterman but after listening to his hatred of Brady - my respect for him has diminished a little.....Was impressed by Russo salivating over Brady and putting him top 5 of all time - and not Manning.

Anyone who takes Letterman serious on any subject needs to lighten up. I'm a homer, so it goes without saying that I'll take Brady over Manning 10 times out of 10, BUT let's keep it in focus. Brady and the Pats won this latest round, but if these two teams meet in Denver in January, I'll still be scared of #18 and his ability to beat the Pats. I don't try to get caught up in the non-ending argument of Brady v. Manning anymore, I'm just trying to relish the opportunity to watch them go head-to-head whenever we can because this is the chit we'll be telling our grandkids about.

I know his history and reputation for playing in cold weather, but in Denver, in the playoffs against Manning...you would have to be a newbie or in denial to say you wouldn't be nervous or scared about the prospect of playing in Denver.

You guys do realize how talk shows work. Russo was pre-interviewed and was probably told to be pro Brady and then Letterman would play the counterpoint. This was all set up to try to make his segment interesting. Letterman most likely overstated his hatred of Brady for the segment.

Nobody gives their real opinions on TV or the radio anymore. They take points or counterpoints just to make the show interesting.

I was listening to him yesterday. (It's the only sports station I get in my truck)..... A Pat fan called in to counter his claim of the Pats not playing well. He said (paraphrasing) " They won because of the wind, THE WIND, THE WIND!!!" He went on to say, they will go to the playoffs but WILL lose in the playoffs. Yea, very likely, every team but 2 will. But to say they definitely will lose goes against his own rants of "How can you predict an outcome" BS he belittles every listener who calls in with. The guys a pompous tool bag.
