Underdogs against Carolina - love it!

Hopefully a lot of the Carolina players are as stupid as their fans. ************. I took a look @ that forum and all I saw was dumbass after dumbass.

So cringeworthy too.

And our community was one dumbass larger during your visit.

:singing:

Kind of a cheap shot at him, Jase--don't you think?

We've all been pretty nice and reasonable with you + giving your team props etc.

I think a lot of the "dumb" comments on your site are the ones that claim "New England's running game is pathetic etc," when it's actually statistically better than yours is by 4 yds per game average. I've seen a ton of those kinds of comments. Obviously your fans don't seem to follow football too well outside of their conference.

Not too many here claimed that we'd mop the floor with you guys, and 3/4 of the comments that I've noticed stated that the game will be very close no matter what happens. I haven't seen many who have stated anything that would be considered unreasonable about the matchup.

Pats will win! 24-1 through second half of season the past 4 seasons.

I saw that as well... our running game is better then theirs

Realizing the importance of past results like this stat + the "Brady at home vs AFC opponents streak," you really can't predict future results that way.

I mean, it's safe to say that we're going to play tough like we do every year down the stretch of the season, but it certainly doesn't mean that we're not going to lose a game or two.

At any rate, I do hope you're right of course. With Gregory out next week almost definitely, and Dennard's situation unknown, we're still dealing with injuries to both Talib and Arrington too. It isn't a good time to have these kinds of injuries in our secondary. Not sure about you, but I'm not looking forward to seeing rookies Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon vs Peyton Manning/Demarius Thomas/Wes Welker/Eric Decker/Julius Thomas etc. Add in Marquice Cole and things could have the potential to get ugly.

I hardly think we'll be crushed or anything, but I get the feeling that the Broncos have the better chance next Sunday. As we know, anything can happen and post season games aren't determined in November anyway. I'm thinking the game will be within 7-10 no matter who wins.

Getting some turnovers, limiting their possessions, and taking advantage of our opportunities will obviously be the deciding factor that can sway the game in our favor.

Yeah, I mean--if you want to say something like "NE's running game will be more limited than ours will be vs the opposing defense" that's fine. At least it makes some sense and it a distinct possibility, but don't go making up some weird stats. Unfortunately for that site, it seems like there were certainly some who were doing that.

I hope their entire team underrates us, and that the Pats come out hot on offense.

Always aints , and though I agree we are not the same team away on turf ( almost all teams are that way ), I can also guaranty you have no idea why. So, I wouldnt profess yourself as a expert about NO on this board either.

NO is a better win, than you beating SF. NE was pretty bashed up, our defense is playing better than SF, SF offense is not as good as NO ( away or home ), and kopernik vs brees would be a wasted debate. Id bet if NE and NO played the same game 10 times, NO would almost always win. So its an impressive win, took alot of guts, and team to win that.

SF on the other hand have been a little over hyped, in my opinion, but we play them sunday, so we will see. If Alex Smith were playing, id be more worried.

After watching that pathetic display by SF last night, I couldn't agree more. CAR fans pounding their chests after beating them should rethink their confidence level. Carolina fans and writers are treating this like a freaking super bowl. Is this the Jest 2.0? What they're saying in Carolina - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

Only thing missing in Charlotte are the letterman jackets

-3 is basically even, since HFA is a FG by default.

They call the sack/fumble the other way.....49ers win in the dome after traveling across the country. ONE play....and perception is totally different.

Meanwhile, last time NE was on the road they lost to Geno Smith. Keep pounding your chest

LOL......someone is once again counting on a bunch of ifs and obviously sounding a bit nervous.......

Merely talking about perception of a game that doesn't involve Carolina.....

Nothing to be nervous about. First half of that Steeler game yesterday showed Pitt just turns into a garbage dumpster on D often. Patriots feasted on that. We aren't the Steelers.

lol... sure it is.

Why don't I go cherry pick some passing stats and list all the teams with better passing attacks than NE.

Carolina rush attack is more dangerous than yours. Defensively, we can shut yours down regardless. You haven't proven you can do that...so if ifs and buts were candy and nuts....

right...the pats put up 55 on a team that has won 4 of 6

at least the pats could beat the bills

Brady is going to get sacked 5+ times Win or lose

luckily brady doesn't let sacks shake his confidence.

If that happens, we lose. Manning was sacked last night how many times? The O-line needs to have their best game tonight.

yeah, but brady was sacked more in the saints game than any other game this year.

the pats had 2 weeks for this game......they'll be ready

anticipate a fast pace on offense. they've not done much of that recently, but with vereen coming back, they'll confuse the panthers

I haven't seen much "chest pounding" here. But there's a whole lot of butt pounding going on at that ***********, Cam love fest of a forum you guys have got going on. It's amazing how much you can hate a team by simply listening to their lame fan base on a HUUUUGE 5 game winning streak. Just remember the higher you get, the further the fall.

is it? in what way? as far as I can tell, the pats running game is better in every regard.

Carolina rush attack is more dangerous than yours.

NE- 267 rushes 1162 yards 4.4 avg 10 TD
car- 292 rushes 1150 yards 3.9 avg 10 TD

Ya clearly much more dangerous.

BTW Pats have done that with their #1 back only seeing more than 20 carries once all season and their #2 RB and arguably best all round RB out for the last 8 games.

NE- 267 rushes 1162 yards 4.4 avg 10 TD
car- 292 rushes 1150 yards 4.2 avg 10 TD

Ya clearly much more dangerous.

1150 / 292 = 3.9 .... so their rushing offense is even worse than you state

on top of that, the pats numbers are negatively skewed because of the 20 times brady has taken a knee
