And I had an even bigger smile when he guessed wrong and Aaron Dobson burnt him on the game-sealing 81-yard touchdown.

He looks like he's a good 10-15 pounds overweight. When they played Oakland, I saw Terelle Pryor run by him like he was a defensive lineman. Maybe he can play for someone else as a nickel linebacker for year or two, but he can't play safety any more.

I just did not expect Tim Tebow to somehow come up in a thread about the Patriots serving up a 50-burger to the Steelers, but there it was. The curse of Tim Tebow. How will the Steelers ever exorcise that?

Ryan Clark is basically a ghost of an NFL player, at this point. From what I saw, he doesn't do anything well, and really shouldn't be on a professional roster anymore. He could never cover well, but he's so bad that he can't even get himself into position to make the big hits that used to somewhat justify his existence.

5 pounds is hair.

Sometimes I think Pittsburgh lets him freelance so his hair can flow in the wind. He looks awesome running in late and out of position for every TD or big play.

I only look during time outs and half time, but what I saw of the game day thread, there was this one poster in there replying to every single post about Troy P not being good, and making sure he talked about how awesome he was and how we should all give Troy credit for his awesomeness.

It may have been Troy himself, because he obviously didn't show up on their field yesterday.

Troy's instincts are excellent. The issue is that, for whatever reason, they work against him with the Patriots, likely because Brady simply owns him when Pitt can't get to the QB. That happens with people. Sometimes someone just has an edge over someone else.

Somebody who's good with GIF's need to alter the Tebowing one to where he's fisting instead of praying and send it to the Steeler's fans.

Polamalu is an excellent safety. He's terrific in situations where he can gamble because the CBs are jamming receivers at the line and the front 7 is creating mayhem up front.

He's playing behind a defense that demands that he play a conservative brand of football and be the goalie on his team. He made a great play on the Ridley strip fumble that set up the first Steelers TD of the second half.

Brady burned him so on the Amendola TD that he looked like a high schooler out there. Brady looked right, paused, and threw a dart to the open zone on the left that Amendola just cruised through for the touchdown. If Polamalu stayed home in centerfield, he probably would have tackled Amendola around the 10 yard line.

The Steelers have a lot of problems on defense. Getting Polamalu to play like a veteran who knows when to gamble and when to play it straight is a big one.

Thanks. Yeah, this thread is really about Ryan Clark running his mouth before the season about Brady and the Pats mystique evaporating because of "ghosts".

Pretty stupid thing to say on TV - - many of us (and more importantly, of course- Brady) had November 3rd circled on the calendar for months.

What happened yesterday was pretty much affected in April.
