It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I think if he were pre-injurty carter someone would have signed him alreadyIf we get pre-injury Carter then this is a great move. Best thing is that it shouldn't take him long to get reacclimated with plays, signals, etc

Pre injury Carter was a street FA no one but the Pats wanted too.this x10. If he was pre injury...he wouldn't still be available.
Wonder how much he has left in the tank
Well, he's at least seen the field, unlike Steve Beauharnais, who can't even get snaps on STs.
In addition to Carter, according to WEEI, the Patriots signed DT Sealver Siliga off the Seahawks' practice squad.
It Is What It Is » Defensive tackle Sealver Siliga signs with Patriots
I was going by a Rotoworld blurb:Siliga was not on the Seahawks Practice Squad at the time of this signing, he was a Free Agent...
You do wonder what the Patriots scouts/BB see in some players at times, especially when nothing in particular screams off the TV screen to you during their college careers.Did you SEE the last defensive snap he was in on this year?
Goal line "stand" against the Bengals. Touchdown Bengals.
Bequette did an amazing imitation of whipped cream. If someone can find the replay of that (CBS used an overhead camera) you will see what a human being looks like deboned.
this move gets Jamie Collins off the field and puts Ninkovich back at OLB

Belichick's draft memoirs would make for some amazing reading.

My thought is Belichick saw a lot of physical talent in Bequette and was hopeful that he could mold him into a good player. Looking at his combine numbers compared to someone like JPP who is considered an athletic freak it is really shocking to see how closely Bequette stacks up and even more shocking that his talent translates so poorly into success at the NFL level.

Nah, I think Vince would agree
A couple of key areas in those combine/pro-day workouts are unaccounted for that factor into the transition at the next level for DEs. Bequette's short arms (32" arm length in comparison to JPP's 34 3/4") makes it very easy for him to get velcroed to blockers which has been one of his biggest weaknesses in the NFL....Looking at his combine numbers compared to someone like JPP who is considered an athletic freak it is really shocking to see how closely Bequette stacks up and even more shocking that his talent translates so poorly into success at the NFL level...
