What happened to Bequette? Isn't he our backup DE?
Bequette can't be upgraded.
Nobody stands on a sideline doing nothing better than that guy.

When I'm watching the Pats and they start pissing me off, I'll randomly yell, "Bequette, DO SOMETHING!!"
Good point, but I'm not sure that Nink has ever displayed the ability to play man to man with an athletic TE like Cumberland. He has shown to be very good in zone coverage, however.
Nink is an upgrade in man to man over Hightower and definitely over Spikes. I, personally, don't want to see the team playing the amount of zone they played this past Sunday again.
Please explain why this move indicates desperation on part of the Patriots.
No.
Keeping Jake Bequette on the roster one more minute is a desperation move.
Well, he's at least seen the field, unlike Steve Beauharnais, who can't even get snaps on STs.
I had thought Fletcher was faster and a better cover LB than these stumps. Obviously the coaches with their daily film disagree.
Well...lets see...hmmmm
Carter has been looking for work for quite a few months and no one knocked on his door.
This is not 2010 anymore and he is a few years older...why do some in here think he just picks up where he left off?
I hope he does but if you are looking for a 10 sack guy,you ain't finding it here.
He is a veteran presence among youngsters,if that helps any then good, but your expectations better not be too high on an aging player who has had some previous leg injuries.
Ninkovich is not an upgrade in man to man coverage to anyone. Well maybe Wilfork.Nink is an upgrade in man to man over Hightower and definitely over Spikes. I, personally, don't want to see the team playing the amount of zone they played this past Sunday again.
