Patriots rookie DT Chris Jones has 3.5 sacks in just over 3.5 games played. He had 28 in college, including 12.5 last yr. Was the MAC DPOY.
Since playing like garbage the first three defensive stands, the defense has started to come up huge. The offense the opposite. The offense needs to step up their game.
I think Thompkins/Dobson have combined for one catch today so far. That's not good at all. Is that a result of good defense or Brady being locked in on one or two guys?
That sack by Chris Jones was actually really close to being a penalty because of the "Tom Brady rule." A defender on the ground can't roll into a QB's legs. It was clear he had no idea where he was, so they didn't call it.
Exactly what I just said to my wife. No kidding. Absolutely atrocious. I don't care if you're a safety and not a corner, it's defense 101! Turn the **** around to the ball!
