Irvin is spot on and its not something new for him think of the 17 free agents he brought in prior to the 01 season not really any big names. And simply put finding these guys and making things work with them in one of the key reasons he maintains succes. He taps the cheapest markets like this one or the UDFA market better than anyone in the league and its not even close and by filling roster spots with these guys and getting good preformances from them allows him to spend the money elsewhere or on more of these guys.

Low risk signings and he gets very high rewards from them.

Reminds me of the quote from the "good ol boy" coach of the Houston Oilers, Bubba Wilson, regarding another HOF coach. Don Shula. It applies equally to Bill Belichick, .
