He was on with Edelman recently and there was some good stuff in this:

I just put this together, which has a lot of the quotes and his interaction with Belichick was pretty hilarious:

Here's one more with a story of a social media post that nearly got him fired from the team:

@SammyBlueCat

When asked by Edelman if Rildey was better at 220, he admitted that he definitely was.

“Quick as a cat, dude,” said Ridley.

Here's one more with a story of a social media post that nearly got him fired from the team:
Couldn't have been his rookie year... or he is talking about someone other than AH.

He was drafted in 2010? AH was arrested in what, 2012/2013?

timeline doesn't make sense for it to be his rookie year

I thought Ridley was going to be the Pats featured back for years to come until the Pollard hit in the 2012 AFCCG. He was never the same after having such a stellar year in 2012. He was the 3rd leading rusher in the AFC, 7th leading rusher in the NFL and 4th in rushing TD's. He was robbed of a at least a Pro Bowl that season.

GREAT story.
This is an example of where Kraft could very helpful to the team. This was a good cop / bad cop situation. Belichick clearly didn’t want to cut Ridley, but wanted to scare the crap out of him — and especially with the Hernandez thing in the background. At the end, Ridley said that to this day, Belichick doesn’t know that Kraft didn’t raise hell with him. Ridley’s wrong — Belichick knows, Belichick knows how Kraft operated. Just like “this will just be our secret” that a good cop might say when the bad cop is out of the interrogation room…. Maybe Kraft actually did tell Belichick that afterwards, but he didn’t have to, Bill knows.

Too bad Ridley didn't have a long career here.

Part of me thinks the massive hit he took from Pollard in the 2012 AFCCG got in his head a little. Same as the shoulder injury to Maroney. The body recovers but the mind doesn't.

He definitely knows now lol.

First part of that story referenced the earlier bit during his rookie year on him coming in overweight. The other part seemingly happened around the time Hernandez was arrested, which was in 2013.

Part of me thinks the massive hit he took from Lewis in the 2012 AFCCG got in his head a little. Same as the shoulder injury to Maroney. The body recovers but the mind doesn't.
That was the other ****head in Bernard Pollard that hit Ridley. I remember seeing them on a collision course in the open field and thinking "don't do Ridley!" He unfortunately paid the price.

Yep, the timeline is way off.

That was me trying to include a link to the other one and as usual, I whiffed and didn't quite make it clear. Hence the reason why I definitely won't quit my day job.

Yea you are right. That dude totally f-ed us out of essentially 3 Super Bowls.

No, I referenced the other story about his rookie year in the opening paragraph. I mentioned in the entry the fact it must have happened around the time Hernandez was arrested, which happened years later.
Yeah, I saw your explanation to Pape right after I hit post reply button.
