I'm not a huge L.Ryan fan and even I agree that his coverage was not "bad," and that route is awfully hard to defend.

He's looked better than Cole, despite that TD.

Agreed. Just needs to work on run support. I think he's making a case for himself on the opening day roster.

the thing about a guy like him is he could be someone that it all of a sudden clicks for. I really think the pats should take on those guys when they have a chance rather than some versatile milquetoast 33 year old

It's like criticizing someone for being unable to stop Randy Moss in his prime on a fade in the end zone. Nicks is one of the best in the league at that slant, big strong guy who beats jams easily.

Kind of strange when you think that all they did was actually promote the preseason games that Goodell knows no one really cares about, but I understand the issue.

Fred Kirsh being in charge of things is like having Peter Griffin from Family Guy at the helm. Same exact male personality type. Kirsch runs that Pats newspaper flying by the seat of his pants making it up as he goes. Ever hear him at the end of In Progress? "Gotta cut it short. Got meetings to go to." Yeah, sure he does. A meeting with a paperback in a bathroom stall maybe. Prolly hides out in there and everyone else thinks he's at the proverbial "Meeting" he always seems to be going to. Someone should put a tail on him to see for sure. lol.
